There will be MUSIC, DRAMA and DANCE performances by children from Monrovia and Mt. Barclay.

Theme: The path from Peace to Prosperity with Equality and Sustainability: MOG is seeking to address burning challenges; share new ideas and strategies; and develop action plans to move women forward socially, politically and economically. There will be round table discussions, evaluation of progress and planning for 2013 and beyond.

Street Sellers VS. LNP ( Liberia National Police)

At every corner, in the middle of the road, at gas stations, and REGARDLESS of the time of day, you would see street seller selling various items like, bread, Fan Milk, cold water, air fresheners, clothing, shoes, jewelry (ol ma it’s Guarantee ooo) , DVD’s and CD’s (shamelessly, I admit that my  SADE GREATEST HITS came from one of them)

Mondays are usually very busy for me. So  I usually wear BLUE on Mondays  in celebration of  “BLUE MONDAYS".

But today was a beautiful day. I decided to take a drive down Tubman Blvd…..Look and SEE what my camera captured!!!

It was a lovely Sunday afternoon on D&M Cruise ship. Guests in the patron section were entertained by a DJ, while guests in the VIP section were being serenaded by a live band.

There were lots of food, drinks and socializing. LiberiaEvents (LE) crew were there to capture it all.

Cruising in Liberia has been the thing of the past...but today, we saw Cruise Ship Diallo & Macedo dock at the Free Port of Monrovia. For those who were fortunate to attend this historical occassion, we know that it took two days to complete....
